Along with my family, I started singing in Church at an early age. At the same time my parents arranged piano lessons. School violin lessons followed. Aged 11 I won a junior exhibition to Trinity College of Music in London. 

 

During my teenage years I also played in various bands and the local orchestra, and have continued to perform in public ever since. 

 

Over the years, I have developed my love of jazz and incorporated it into my performance.

 

More recently I have been asked to teach individuals and groups, a great opportunity to give something back to my communities.

As well as collaborating with many other amazing musicians, I regularly play with two bands:

'While the Cat's Away' is a small jazz collective gigging regularly in Walthamstow, London and beyond; 

at weekends I team up with Jasmine Ali and as 'Jaz and Dave' we play Oldies, country and Irish music in London Pubs.

My vocal range and musical background affords me the privilege of being able to sing everything from Country to Choral and to play piano, guitar and bass guitar.
